AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and beverage vendors prioritise providing fans with a diverse array of international and local culinary delights, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. Alcohol (you must be 21+) is sold within public areas at the circuit.

However, be prepared that the prices are quite high in Miami.

Please note that the payment can be made mostly by credit card.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

In early May, coinciding with the F1 race, Miami basks in warm, muggy conditions. Daytime mercury levels hover between 84°F to 86°F (29°C to 30°C), while nights cool slightly to a comfortable 72°F to 76°F (22°C to 24°C). Humidity clings at approximately 71%, accompanied by a generous dose of sunshine, gracing the city with about 10 hours of daylight daily.

Precipitation occurs moderately, spanning around 11 days, accumulating to about 5.9 inches (150 mm) in total. The inviting sea maintains an average temperature of 81°F (27°C), offering an enticing invitation for swimming and aquatic pursuits. This climate sets the stage for outdoor adventures and immersing oneself in Miami's lively nocturnal scene and rich cultural offerings.

For the most accurate information, it is advisable to check a reliable weather forecast closer to the date of your visit, as weather conditions can change from year to year. For example, we recommend the Windy app.
