RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other F1 events, Miami Grand Prix, visitors must abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them.

WHAT CAN'T YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Items that can be used to damage or deface property - or any part of the circuit and its surroundings - as well as obstructions, hindrances or interruptions to the race, affecting public safety, as well as any merchandise or tickets for commercial distribution and any dangerous items, are prohibited by law.

Anyone entering the entertainment area will be subject to a check/search.

Refusal may result in not being admitted without a refund. Please note that certain items are not allowed to be brought into the entertainment area.

The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

  • Aerosol cans (e.g., pepper spray, sunscreen, etc.)
  • Alcoholic beverages or unauthorised substances
  • Any animal, except service animals or service animals in training
  • Any handbags or bags that exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ (30.48 cm x 15.24 cm x 30.48 cm)
  • Drones
  • Fireworks, flares, explosives, ammunition, or other incendiary devices
  • Food and beverages of any kind, with the following exceptions: food in a clear plastic bag for guests with special medical or dietary needs, and factory-sealed plastic water bottles of 20 oz (590 ml) or less (clear plastic reusable water bottles are also allowed)
  • Frisbees, footballs, beach balls, or other projectiles
  • Laser pointers, horns, two-way radios, bells, whistles, noisemakers, or megaphones
  • Opaque bags that exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ (11.43 cm x 16.51 cm)
  • Refrigerators, coolers, jars, and thermoses of any kind
  • Seating cushions of any size, except for those used for medical purposes
  • Signs, banners, or flags
  • Smoking and use of electronic smoking devices (vaping)
  • Strollers, wheelchairs, bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards, or scooters
  • Tents, canopies, large umbrellas, folding or non-folding chairs, and flag poles
  • Video cameras, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, and sound recording equipment
  • Weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, pepper spray, etc

WHAT CAN YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

We generally recommend visitors of F1 races to pack light and take only the essentials - money, phone, spare battery for their camera, etc. There is a wide range of food and drinks available at the race circuit, of course, don't forget your ticket for each specific day and valid ID for yourself and your children.

You can also take the following items:

  • Clear plastic bags must adhere to dimensions not exceeding 12′′ x 6″ x 12″.
  • Small bags or fanny packs must not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″.
  • Diaper bags are allowed but are subject to search.
  • Empty plastic or silicone drinking containers up to 32 oz are permitted.
  • Empty Camelbak-type water pouches without pockets are also allowed.
